In the article the specificity of the sense creation  process, the differences between religious and philosophical ways of the finding of the sense, among which the fundamental demarcation is observed through the line of the increasing/decreasing of the space for the sense finding,   are regarded.

Charudeshna Dass (Ismailov E.H.). UNSYMMETRIC DIALECTICS

 Opposition of science and religion that  we see now, wise men count an attribute of ignorance. According to Vedas one without another is defective. The religion which has no a base of knowledge is considered a blind belief, the destiny of primitive people. On the other hand, the knowledge which does not approach a person to the God, is an empty philosophizing. Basically, Vedic scriptures expound a metaphysics – the knowledge of how the world is arranged. In this work the logic, or knowledge of why the world is arranged in that way is considered from the Vedic viewpoint.

Adieieva V.V. VARIETY FATALISM OF DESTINY

The paper proposes the construction of the new conception of destiny, which consists of two parts: fatalism – because in this case we truly believe in the existence of destiny-, and variety of the probability – the faith that human has a chance to change his destiny. However, human can change only the way of his destiny – life. This conception was named the «signs of destiny» and it is limited only by Europe culture. The knowledge of the future we construct using two ways – the experience of the past (personal and collective) and the mantic practices (in this case, we can consider even the process of the forecast). These ways give us the «signs», and our mission is to follow them. In this way we realize our predestination.

Biletsky I.P. LOGIC OF FAITH AND ACTION IN SCIENCE AND RELIGION

This article is devoted to the problem of belief, experience and action in science and religion. As a conceptual basis the ideas of the truth integrated concept of the American philosopher and psychologist K. Wilber, the theory of visual and audiotactile cultures of the Canadian philosopher M. Mak-Luen etc. are used. In the article it is shown, that the phenomenon of belief is present both in religion and science, and it is not at all a basic distinction between them. The basic distinction between religion and science consists in different types of experience:the internal, existential in religion, and the external, empirical one in the science.

Bilyk O. M. SHAMANISM AND PHILOSOPHY

There are some causes to compare philosophers and shamans and, accordingly, philosophical doctrines and shaman practices. Very great similarity can be found between behaviour of philosophers, especially first philosophers, and shamans. Moreover, in philosophy a great attention is paid to doctrine of opposites, which is directly connected with shaman practices. Also myth, which is used in philosophy, concerns magic and shamanism.

Bilyk K.A. MYTH OF THE CONTEMPLATION CUP

         In Sufis’ works cognition is described with the help of symbols, which are inherited from Zoroastrian mythology. In particular, the notion “Jamshid’s cup” or “the cup of contemplation” is used. Some Sufis state that this cup symbolizes cognition. Others state that it symbolizes human fate, human soul. Sometimes a mirror which has the same functions and the same meaning is corresponded with the cup.

Breduhn I.V. RELIGION AND THE PROBLEM OF SLAVERY

In the given article the question is social institute of slavery and its connection with religion. In many cases slavery institute doesn’t correspond to traditional historical-political schemes. The article points that slavery institute took to it those functions which this or that religion forbade its followers. In Islamic states the phenomenon of slaves-warriors is observed. Specific feature of this phenomenon consists in that represantatives of the named group, even under change of social position, kept legislative position of slaves.

Brunko P.V. CAUSES OF NEW UNTRADITIONAL CULTS SPREADING

The article considers so-called new spiritual associations well known under different names. It’s shown that in real these cults differ very much from the religion in common meaning and are pseudo-religious by entity. The author analyses the main types of the new cults in Ukraine and post-Soviet countries

K.V.Gomozova. THE SACRAL AND VIRTUAL ORIGINS OF CONSCIOUSNESS

In present article the substantiation of the view point according to which human is «a virtual creature» is offered, i.e. the essence of the human distinguishing it from other biological kinds living creatures consists in virtuality or, speaking differently, that human lives not only and not so much in a real world, but in a virtual world, i.e. the world of the abstract representations separated from the real here and now. For this purpose it is necessary to explain at first various semantic nuances of the term "virtuality" further to imply them to essence of the person. The latter is attained by means of three concepts connection, they are David Lewis Williams’s concept of the hallucinogenic origins of consciousness of ,  F. Engels’s concept of labour activity as the factor of human evolution and Bataille’s concept of sense of the sacral.

MEMORY, DIALOGUE AND THE OTHER

This paper is devoted to comparison of the time theories and the anthropological projects by H. Bergson, M. Buber and E. Levinas. It is shown that these theories of the time and temporality are characterized by accent on one of the three tenses: past, present or future; and it is precisely this accent defines  the specific anthropology  and possibility of the inter-subject relations.

The article is devoted to the analysis of feminine ideal in the Orthodox tradition in comparison with the modern ideas about a perfect woman. From our point of view to make a career for modern women  it is a necessary premise of the realization her Evangelic destination to be a good mother and a keeper of the hearth.Only woman is able to give a financial and social protection for her children, who takes the responsibility for children s future is able to bring up a spiritual and talented person  in our political and social unstable world.

Kuz’ O.M. SOCIOCENTRIC RELIGIOSITY AS A SPECIFIC FORM OF ALIENATION

The article is devoted to the analysis of sociocentic religiosity on the example of soviet mentality that replaces the transcendental object of religious emotions by social idols (personalized and polysubjective). It is proved that earnest belief in ideals of Communism by its essence and psychic mechanisms is a religious belief, which, on the one hand, furthers personal alienation, and, on the other hand, creates the illusion of finding new essence through being concerned in “the big stuff”.

Landiak O.M. RITUAL MOTIVES IN INTERPRETATION

OF THE POST-SOVIET SERIALS FEMALE IMAGES

This article is devoted to analyze ritual roots and motives that are presented in female characters of post soviet serials. The aim is to compare different methodical approaches in visual narrative research, and archaic mythological motives that are given in female images. The main task is to give cultural and philosophical interpretation to these motives.

 During the analyzing was founded the connection between different interpretation of ritual archaic motives that female characters reproduce in post soviet serials. The author represents personal view on a problem of interpretation different ritual senses that we can define in opposite female images. In the article are used gender theory and semiotic analysis to search the plot structure of cultural myth, represented in post soviet mass culture.

V.G. Levina. MAIMONIDES’ INHERITENCE:

ON INTERSECTION OF TRADITIONS

The article covers the problem of the cross-cultural communication on the historical background, taking by the example the creation of Maimonides as a phenomenon that deals with Judaic, Arabic and West European philosophical tradition. The area of dissemination and the degree of authority of the ideas of the author in the world of the time are identified by making a reference to the Arabic and Latin translations of one of the Maimonides works «The Guide for the Perplexed». The phenomenon «maimonidizm» is analyzed as a display of cross-cultural   communication that fruitfully influenced the mutual enrichment of different cultural traditions and maintained the way of harmonious compromise.

Pankov G. D. PROBLEM OF CORRELATION OF THE FAITH AND THE KNOWLEDGE IN ORTHODOX ACADEMIC CONCEPTION OF XIX –BEGINNING OF XX CENTURY

In this article there is the analysis of apologetics of God-blunt faith in philosophical conception of orthodox ecclesiastic academies of the Russian empire in the aspect of the question about the faith and the knowledge correlation. Two sides of the considered question touching up understanding of distinctions between the faith and the knowledge, and also their unities and harmonies are found out. Onthological, gnoseological and philosophical-anthropological determinants are selected in the decision of problem of the faith and the knowledge correlation.  In the article special attention is paid to the analysis of gnoseological methods in the system of philosophical apologetics of God-blunt faith. The dual orientation of polemic side of apologetics is shown in regard to philosophical empiricism and rationalism.

Pashkov K.V. THAUMATURGY COLLISION (GOSPEL MIRACLE

INTERPRETATION IN WORKS BY ALAN BADIOU AND SERGEY AVERINTSEV)

The article is dedicated to the comparative analysis of the viewpoints of two modern philosophers – Alan Badiou and Sergey Averintsev as to the issue of gospel miracle comprehension (thaumaturgy collision). On the basis of historical and cultural and also linguistic analyses of gospel texts by S. Averintsev and on the developments of modern biblical textual study, in the article there has been demonstrated inadequacy of gospel thaumaturgy criticism by Badiou, there has been made a conclusion as to incorrectness of postmodern philosophy attempts to give its own interpretation ofChristian heritage of Europe.

The purpose of the work is to compare the  logic of myth and that of science in the modern culture. Ways of functioning of logic of myth, in particular –metaphorization;  substitution of cause and effect laws by time, spatial, social sequences; an identification of the whole and parts etc. are analyzed. Also comparison of logic of  myth to logic of falsification by K.Popper is made.

Tkachenko O.E. THINGS AND ACTIONS IN THE UKRAINIAN HEALING MAGIC: ANTHROPOLOGICAL ANALYSIS

The article deals with antropologic interpretation of the most widespread rituals of the Ukrainian healing magic. The relationship between the variants of actions and material things semantics interpretation as magical and healing and illness-causing factors were analyzed. Traditional approaches to the interpretation of healing rituals are reviwed, new alternative methods of analyses that do not contradict the generally accepted approaches but supplement them are offered. The human aspiration to materialise the illness, to make it an ordinary “prophan” phenomenon to make it easier for dealing with in the practice of magic. In every ritual of healing magic  “prophan” image make a total unity – a system of accordance with real phenomena not interpreted by the consciousness. The effect of healing and magic factors is not restricted by the work of binary oppositions. Depending on the situation healing and magic ritual can be a factor of both putting the world in order and chaotisation of it. The article is attempt to find the right specificity with which the magic thinking works according to the Ukrainian traditionality.

On the one hand, in religious aspect a man should quit being a child as it’s a state of weakness. On the other hand, the state of a child is an example to reach for the spiritual perfection.

Cheshko V.F. THE FREE WILL PROBLEM AND INFORMATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES  (ON THE EVE OF GLOBAL EVOLUTIONAL BIFURCATION)

         The article considers the problem of the human evolution technologization and connected with it changes of the basic concepts of the Enlightenment project such as “human”, “humanity”, “rationality” etc. It’s shown that the managed evolution breaks limits of the self-regulating evolution that means for the Homo sapiens representatives transition on a higher level, the level of Noosphere. This transition set up again the old philosophical problems of free will, necessity and their correlation.

It’s demonstrated as well that in period of the informational civilization formation new ideals and ethic norms corresponding to the new humanistic society entity, whose core consists in the affirmation and thorough development of human personality and optimistic recognition of perspectives of the human society cyclic progress, tolerance to other humans’ ideals, beliefs, ethic norms are affirmed.

Masalov A.G. THE SOVIET PERIOD IN RUSSIAN PHILOSOPHY: catastrophe OR ALTERNATIVE DEVELOPMENT?

The article is dedicated to the Soviet period in the development of the Russian philosophy. It was shown that to consider this time only “a black hole“ in the history of Russian philosophy is not objective and premature. The Soviet philosophy had the prominent representatives, in its{her} frameworks such directions, as a history of philosophy, epistemology, logic, philosophy of science, philosophical anthropology, axiology etc.
