Students of the Department of Ukrainian Studies undergo their internships during the third, fourth and fifth years of training:
III year: introductory internship (acquaintance with the internship base, attending lectures and seminars, mastering teaching methods, current documentation, preparing their own lecture notes, etc.);
IV year: teaching practice (giving lectures and seminars in a college, making presentations on a given topic, engaging in methodical work of the Department on the basis of the practice, participating in cultural and educational activities, making reports on the internship, etc.).
V year: teaching practice (giving lectures and seminars in a higher educational institution, making presentations on the given topic, engaging in methodical work of the Department on the basis of the practice, participating in cultural and educational activities, making reports on the internship, etc.).
Students undergo internships in the following educational institutions:
- Cycle Committee (Department) of Social Sciences and the Humanities (Kharkiv College of Trade and Economics of Kyiv national University of trade and Economics).
- Department of Ethics, Aesthetics and History of Culture (Kharkiv National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”.
- Department of Culturology (Kharkiv State Academy of Culture).
During the teaching internship students conduct classes in:
- History of Ukrainian Culture;
- Culturology;
- Religious Studies.
